Community Guidelines

These Guidelines form part of the Terms of ISI Alberta Inc, trading as Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI). They apply to team names, stories, images, captions, reactions, cheers, spurs and other community interactions.

1. Encourage without harm Challenge and support each other respectfully. No bullying, threats, harassment, hate, sexual content, doxxing or shaming over bodies, beliefs, missed workouts or personal circumstances. A spur is encouragement, not coercion. Christian content is part of the service, but participation does not require a profession of faith. Ordinary disagreement and good-faith criticism are allowed; no political campaigning or arguments that disrupt the group.

2. Coaching boundaries Do not diagnose others, prescribe medication/supplements, give treatment instructions or encourage training against clinical restrictions. Personal experience must not be presented as professional advice. Do not promote dangerous exercise, extreme restriction, dehydration, purging or self-harm. Refer health concerns to qualified professionals. Coach messages are general fitness guidance; automated coach-style text may be generated by software.

3. Protect privacy Share only material you have the right to share. Get informed permission from identifiable people in a photo and do not post images of children. No nude or sexual images. Do not screenshot or redistribute another member's private information, scrape emails, contact someone for unrelated marketing or reveal prayer/journal/health details without specific permission. Do not put someone else's sensitive information in a custom task title or public story. Team and partner sharing includes the fields disclosed in the Privacy Policy; other members' misuse cannot always be prevented technically.

4. Keep it honest No impersonation, fake results, fraudulent activity or fabricated testimonials. Disclose a relevant relationship or benefit when making a permitted endorsement. Do not sell, fundraise, recruit, post affiliate promotions or solicit members through community channels without ISI's express permission. Permission cannot authorize deceptive claims or unlawful marketing.

5. Reports and emergencies Email legal@isi.fitness with the location, account involved and a brief explanation. Avoid forwarding unnecessary sensitive images. We handle reports discreetly and do not routinely identify the reporter to the reported member; we cannot promise absolute anonymity where investigation or law requires disclosure. No retaliation for good-faith reporting. For imminent danger or a medical emergency, contact emergency services first. The app is not an emergency monitoring service.

6. Moderation and appeal Depending on seriousness, ISI may remove content, warn, restrict a feature, remove team membership, suspend or close an account. Urgent safety or security issues may require immediate action. We preserve necessary evidence and involve authorities only where lawful/required. Where practicable and legally permitted, we give reasons and allow an appeal to legal@isi.fitness. Violations are assessed proportionately; a mention of a child is not automatically treated as unlawful content. We do not punish lawful criticism or privacy requests.

7. Changes and contact Material changes receive notice consistent with the Terms. These Guidelines do not grant ISI rights to use your community content in marketing; that requires a separate release. Operator: ISI Alberta Inc, Alberta, Canada; contact legal@isi.fitness. Contact: legal@isi.fitness.
